What is a Sweatless Victory?

When we have the spirit of the living God within us and we are living a life of integrity by:

1) Obeying His Word (The Bible)

2) Serving OTHERS in love

3) Communicating with God daily

We will more than likely experience challenges in this life (hey, it happens to everyone).

BUT our victory is sure and made "easy" or sweatless because of our ongoing commitment to Him.

Today I was reminded that God is committed to my success, He reigns, He is in complete control, this life isn't so much about what I see but what I KNOW, that I am not to be lead by my emotions but by what God says! (phew, that is a lot)

This is what essentially happened today in (somewhat) chronological order-

I successfully executed a good deed for someone that was God initiated, realized I was developing an infection in an incision that was healing, was informed with tidbits of info. about my surgery by my doctor's associate that I wasn't fully aware of, the good deed was rejected by the recipient and a spiritual/verbal attack being launched, infection confirmed-rushed to ED, treatment given and discharged.

Through all of these ups and downs and the hurt and pain, I knew and was assured that - I was in God's Hands and I had complete and total faith in His ability. I had to make my emotions obey, my mouth obey, my mind obey...they are all subject to His Word.

Right now I am resting, no longer in physical or emotional pain. I have peace! I have the (sweatless) victory! Yes, it got HOT and uncomfortable, I did perspire but I didn't "sweat" my situation.

To God Be THE Glory For The Things HE Has Done!
